Print-only sizes
8 × 10, 10 × 10, 12 × 24 and 18 × 36 ship unframed. Every other size comes either way. Each painting’s page shows exactly what exists for it.
Telling a framer
310 gsm textured matte paper. Hinge with acid-free tape, UV acrylic or glass, a mount if you like one. No dry mounting; the paper is worth keeping flat and free.
Questions
Is it cheaper to frame a print myself?
Sometimes. A framer charges for the frame, glazing, mount and labour; a ready-made frame in a standard size costs less but rarely fits fine-art proportions exactly. Our framed prices include a solid-wood frame cut to the print.
Which frame colour?
Oak warms most paintings, black sharpens dark grounds, white suits watercolour and pale bouquets, gold suits the old still lifes. Each work's page previews all four on that painting.
Which sizes cannot be framed?
8 × 10, 10 × 10, 12 × 24 and 18 × 36 are print-only. Every other size comes framed or unframed.
