Saatchi Art is the biggest name in buying art online, and the scale is real: original work from hundreds of thousands of artists, in every style and medium, with prints alongside the originals.
We are not a smaller version of that. Of Nature and Art is the opposite construction: one subject, paintings of the living world; two main mediums, oil and watercolour; a collection small enough to be chosen one painting at a time. On an open platform the browsing is the work, and some people enjoy it. Here it has been done before anything is listed.
On AI
Saatchi Art's published policy prohibits work generated solely by AI and permits AI tools in a work's preliminary stages; the site also lists work tagged artificial intelligence. That is a defensible line for a platform at that scale. It is not ours. Nothing we sell is generated and nothing AI-assisted is accepted, at any stage, in any medium. Generation is cheap now, which makes the opposite scarce: a painting is evidence of attention. That is the thing we sell.
The prints
Prints exist on both sites. Ours are made one way: giclée on Hahnemühle German Etching, 310 gsm, velvet matte, in sizes fitted to each painting's proportions rather than a standard menu, framed in solid wood or not at all. Open editions from $49. The whole collection ships on that one paper.
